How about we just fast forward all the way to October?
I honestly CAN NOT wait until Halloween

Is it wrong of me that I rather be watching The Lion King upstairs in my room snuggled under the blankets, than to be downstairs with my family that came in to town? Let me tell you, Argentineans are just a mess. I seriously don't even know half of my cousins, and here, staying at my house, are some that I've never spoken before. My own dad didn't even know their names. Haha. Ugh, I do wish I could sing along with the opening song of King. And how is it that a 13 year old can have such a better fashion sense than I can ever have? Damn you Tavi, damn you.

HaHa

I've been watching this movie WAY too much lately. I actually just finished watching it again.
Today was a quite dreadful day. Okay I lied. Today was really nice, considering the fact that I slept in until 1, giving me a total of ten hours (staying up until 3 am watching Love and Basketball is not a good idea). Sooo I didn't have much time to do anything. I rushed out of bed and went to school to work on a sewing final, and a website we have to do for computer apps. I was at school for about 4 hrs. d: (I didn't have class btw)

Fendi pretty much pwns the whole rockabilly hair look. It looks like they are about to get ready to hit a Horror Pops show. I think I've tried plenty of times to get my hair to look like that, and of course it never does. If I could, I'd wear this hairdo alll the timeeee.

No reading, just watching.

Enjoi:
(one of my favorite songs of all time, only because it's covered by HIM)

Love of my life.

I don't think I could ever and I mean EVER get enough of Zooey Deschanel. She is my inspiration for pretty much anything. Her being consists of great style/clothing, great musical taste, and great movies to star in. I got to admit, that first time I saw her in The New Guy, I didn't really care much of her, but then after I saw her in The Go-Getter, I completely fell in love with her.

Doit & Good

Surprisingly, Dolce & Gabbana's Fall show really had me looking. All of their stuff is ready to wear, and I definitely see myself wearing it a lot. They smashed Christmasy patterns, with very sophisticated, fancy wear. Maybe the fur boots were a little too much, but the scarves had me going! Very good show, and I sure do see a lot of people wearing this.

Finally at home

Sorry I haven't been able to blog at all this week/end. Everything has been so crazy!
Especially since my boyfriend came into town from Reno last Thrusday, so I was quite preoccupied. Friday night we threw my going away party at the apartment, and it was great! From what I can remember d:
But down to the serious stuff.

Talk about crazy. Alexander McQueen was probably one of my favorite designers of all time. He was always so unique in all the things that he created, and he never held back. This was probably his last show before he past away. It's sad that such a talented, creative designers that ever lived. The style here reminds me a lot of the Renaissance era. It resembles the high collars, puffy dresses, designs, and hair styles that they used back then.

Thanks a lot McQueen, and you will be missed.

Flowers to go around

Era: Fall/Winter 2010/2011
Girl: 17-28
Wears: Cute, flower patterned dresses, colored tights, and long necklaces.
Hair: Wears it down with a little top bump.

Record player, polaroids, a million of peacock feathers, and refreshe. What more could you ask for? I must admit, all of these things are considered "hipster" nowadays. What does that even mean? Haha. Seams like hipster is the HIPSTER thing to say. But hey, whatever. Be who you want to be. Do what you want to do.

"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
~Dr. Seuss
My perfect girl consists of the following:

A flowy, positive attitude
More colors worn on her, than in the rainbow
Cute flowery dresses with obnoxious color tights
Wears two-sizes-too-big sweaters
Age 17-28

This amazingly adorable girl is my roommate Poem. Yes, her name IS Poem. We had just got home from school, and I asked to take pictures of her in her everyday attire. She fits just right.
What is she wearing?
Clock Keds
Bright yellow tights
Polka-dotted jumper
Red and white striped shirt
Sergeant Pepper jacket
Accordion earrings

So So So Sonia Rykiel

"Everything I buy is vintage and smells funny. Maybe that's why I don't have a boyfriend."

This is one of the best shows I've seen this week. Plenty plenty of knits for this fall/winter. The average cute girly girl can go for the style that Sonia has created. She wasn't just going for the whole vintage look, but for a recent collection at H&M. The chicas walking the catwalk wore a smile, so it looks like they're having fun.

Love how she put in some FAUX-layered numbers.

May I add that I completely love the puff balls that was added on top of the models hair. It gave them more of an innocent, angelic look.
